Archusa In Quitman
I was passing through Quitman today and decided to ride by the lake. Anybody know if there is a good place to buy minnow close and how much they charge to launch a boat?

Archusa mini mart sells minnows. It's the gas station close to the bridge that crosses the lake they also have premium non alcohol gas as well
Boat launch is around $10 I think but really don't know exactly as I have purchased the life time pass. Lake is down now but people still able to launch boats but not as easily as when water is at normal height. Hope this will be a help to you. Be careful as lots of shallow areas during lake draw down.

Thanks Scrat. Yeah I noticed it was low. Looked like some good stumps in the upper end on the small side of the bridge. But all that was dry. I may try to fish it a couple time this spring.
