Default Big 4 Water Level Watch

All of the Big 4 water levels are now at least 10 feet higher than COE rule curves. Grenada is the worst at 19 feet above rule curve. Sardis is 16 feet above. Third straight wet winter down here.

Good to me. Not wishing flooding on anyone though. I love high water. Best thing that can happen for the spawn.

Hope we don't have another last spring but ten or fifteen feet over winter pool is a good thing for me. Thirty-eight feet over winter pool is not. Things are not
so bad right now. It will depends on how much water we get here on out.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

The Corp has been able to really reduce the Big 4 water levels during the past week and a half of dry weather. Grenada is down to 15-1/2 feet over rule curve and Sardis is down to 11-1/2 feet over curve. Arkabutla and Enid are in real good shape. Rain returned last night and predicted through Wednesday night. None of the lakes have started rising yet.

Better high than low . 10-15 YRs. ago those lake got Hammered . I remember one year at 8:30 a.m. (taught drivers ed . ) Water Valley had 92 boat trailers . Parked out near dump station . You could literally walk across lake to love joy creek from Water Valley except for 30 yd or so .

You were right. They're all rising this morning, especially Arkabutla and Grenada.
