We've been putting out stake beds on our home lakes for over 20 years and the results are great.

How long would you think a pallet would float? Days, weeks, months?

Should get a year out of it floating. Them waves will do some damage to them. But they work great.

We usually carry out 3 beds per trip ( 1 on front of boat 1 hanging off middle side and 1 on back end) and usually try to deploy between 14-20 per day when we get the time to deploy them. We use a 18' jon boat and try to pick the calmer days obviously for getting them out.

Yep. High water it is in regards to helping the fish population. The amount of man made stuff put in is a speck of what they need. Christmas trees have their place. They just don't last a long time and little harder to fish and get hung up but I've caught boat loads around some! I like stake beds and I think the fish do as well.

Christmas trees, for whatever reason, do much better in deep water than shallow.....
