    Default Livescope vs mega 360

On the fence about which to get? I currently have regular 360 and like it. But the more I watch and see about livescope and the way I fish think it's the nuts!! So question is should I go ahead and just get livescope and don't worry about new mega 360 coming out? Or is there any rumor with a new version of livescope coming out I should wait on?

It depends on how you mainly fish. If you are a single poller, definitely Live Scope.
Spider rigging I think the 360 is more beneficial

This is just a old mans opinion. I had the pleasure of fishing with Slab Slayer and Dirt Track for a day couple of weeks ago. They are running both at same time. They have the 360 hooked to a helix 10 and Livescope finder above it. They have that 360 so dialed in it was unbelievable to me the quality of the pictures. And if mega is better than that was it’s going to be super impressive. Now to my opinion, I think to be real sucessfull I’d want both running in conjunction. Even spider rigging. Hunt down fish with SI and follow with 360 then target with Livescope. I have my opinions on all this new technology but it is the wave of the future.

I run both, old 360, not mega.
They are just 2 different tools.
Both has its time and place.
I’m not going Mega, but I may pick up an extra 360 used for s backup.

It was a good time. I’m still running both but now have upgraded to 12” screens on both. Livescope vs mega 360. The eye sight isn’t what it use to be Cray.
IMO, they both work great together no matter what method you are using out of the front of the boat.

I can't afford either so I think they should outlaw them.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

I would definitely hold out to see what 2020 brings in the next few months, on both mega 360 and possibly gen 2 live scope. If I was a guide or a big time tourney fisherman then both wold be considered an asset tool used to conduct business. As far as a weekend warrior or whenever I get the time I can't justify the expense. And on another thought, I still enjoy the chase and actually fishing for them critters. I would hate to ever tarnish or kill my child like spirit of just figuring them out as opposed to watching them and forcing them to bite. I dunno, but would definitely hold off a few months or otherwise end up with ancient technology
