Man that side scan is something?? I finally got one of them things this past year and wow!! If the 360 or livescope is any better, I might forget who I was and buy a guide license!!

One draw back that I see is just like anything else the bigger the screen the better. From what I can tell with a 12” screen it’ll be close to $4000. IMO the pics and videos I’ve seen , the image isn’t great or at least it isn’t as good as HB image. I know it’s live but it’s still lacking. I think in a year or two it’ll be great. Think about the difference between gn1 and gn3 HB Si and di. I can add the mega 360 for $1200 or so. Big difference.

Bill,
I have all Lowrance gear on my boat. Hds 12 gen 3 on console with old LSS1 scan. Hds 12 Live on bow with 3 in 1 on trolling motor. I could add Livesight for around 1300 with transducer mount. Live scope and Garmin 12” would cost 3,500 - $4,000. Is it worth the difference to switch to garmin? Btw. I am 70 and retired so money don’t come easy.

Just saw an awesome YouTube of both units in same boat. The cone on the Garmin is 20 degrees with 130 angle view. The site unit was 40 degree cone with a 9 0 degree angle view. Like BEN stated microscope for crappie !! The live site will show more structure. Bass anglers probably just buy both!!!
