I'm coming down from northern Illinois this weekend and staying at Cossar State Park.
With the water level coming down to winter pool, are there low water ramps at each
of the launch sites? What's the best technique at this time of year? Minnows or
plastic? The fellas I fish with have all been down to the Big 4 in springtime and have
always endured high water levels. This is our first trip in the fall and I would like it to
be a success. Thank you for all your help in advance.

Fished Enid for a few hours Sunday am. Had 10 keepers and about the same number of shorts. Had one or two real nice fish. Spider riggin at 0.4 mph in 13-9 fett of water around 7 feet down for the most part. Minnows and jigs tipped with minnows. Follow the herd. I put in at Persimmon and ran a few miles up on the south side of the lake. Tight lines.
