Several of the Spider Riggers I know are using the Shimano IX 1000 spinning reels. Very inexpensive at ~$12 ea.

And if you don't like the "trigger" or rear drag system ... take a look at the Shimano FX1000FB (@ ~$18 ea)

I found some on eBay they came out of China small blue and silver reels they have been great and only ran 10 bucks each... I tried the cheap ht reels that grizzly sells they are fine to but the drag on the reels leaves a lot to be desired!

Cocacola, well it all depends on each situation (person), and what exact fishing style do you prefer. I like to use spinning reel Penn Battle II ( you can find this here ), because it's pretty light weight reel, paired with superior durability of mechanism in equal measure. And counting that I like extreme fishing this reel is comfortable for that one as well, and fits perfectly for me.

My personal preference is the Crappie Maxx from Bass Pro. $20 and they are super smooth and have a really good drag system. I’ve got 15 or so and have never had a problem.
