    To say Ms. Tammy and I are humbled by the participation in this event is an understatement, it never ceases to amaze me how people can come together litterly from all over the country, find common ground and enjoy some awesome fellowship right in the middle of some of the best crappie fishing in the country.
    We want to express a special thank you to Ed Moes "Slab" for his willingness to run such an awesome site, Crappie.com, that is family friendly, but most of all draws people of like mind from all over the country. THANK YOU ED!!!!!
    It was good to see old friends and make new ones and we hope to see everyone next year!!

    Hate I missed the gathering I made the decision to head home due to my mother being in the hospital and not doing good. I Got to Birmingham around noon and stopped for gas and saw that I had tore up a wheel bearing. I pulled the wheel and tied up the axle and was able to limp to bass pro and they were able to get me back on the road in about 2 hours. Got home at 9 pm when I should have been home at 5. Hope to see everybody next year.

    Glad to get to see everyone.
    Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

    Thanks John & Tammy, the Crank Fest is a awesome event due to the hard work both of you put forth each year. I hate that Coach and I had a short trip this year. Unbelievable trolling motor gremlin hit Thursday morning.

    Look forward to next years Crank Fest!!!!
