    Default Shakespeare ats 15 “click”

Just got 6 of these to pull cranks. 4 came out of the box clicking when you reel or let line out. 2 came out and do not click. Is there a way to make them do this or not do this? I’d like for all to be the same.

There is a little silver button on the side that has two positions, and it slides forward or backwards.

Even with the "clicker" button off, my ATS reels still have a slight "ticking" sound when reeling in. My Okuma Magda's are silent when that button is off.

I feel like such an idiot now. I was trying to push that in earlier. Never tried to slide it back and forth.

Ha! I had the exact same trouble with mine as soon as I put them on. Don’t feel bad. I hear you!

Used them for the first time this weekend and they worked great. Do you guys let the crank hit the water then put it on zero and go out or zero at the end of the pole and go out?

I like mine from the end of the pole you will need to calibrate them to make sure that the is the same on them if you pulled out a hundred foot a line will it show you a hundred feet on the counter.
