I didn’t notice a yellow tint in the sun. But I can in the pic a bit since someone pointed it out. I Caught it at Butla. I know it is not a white bass. And there’s never been any stripers in there and not supposed to be any hybrids in there. But it looked more like a hybrid than anything when I caught it. But I’ll go with yellow bass now.

I’ve caught a million yellow bass at Eagle Lake. They have really rough scales and tall dorsal fins. And they are yellow. That ain’t a yellow bass.

It’s a yellow bass. I’d never caught one out of the Arkabutla, Sardis, Enid, or Grenada until this yr. Caught 2 this yr on Arkabutla. Kinda odd

I’ve caught many yellow bass in the oxbows as well. And in my years I have noticed that the fish in our flood control reservoirs are lighter colored than fish off of the river.

Mismatched lines. Second spine is longest. Yellow Bass.
