Yes, filled with water to test after boat was recovered. No self bailing scullers on these boats.

Only thing it could be is a cracked weld that either opens u see power or is higher in hull that he could fill with water or possibly a rogue wave came over transom? It was 8-10 mph when they went down, but I’ve been in the boat in 20 plus and never felt unsafe.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

look at all the crap hung on the transom. Throw in 4 batteries and a full gas tank. Couple that with some10 mph waves that have had several miles to build and there you go.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

This had to be a wave, an automatic bilge pump will tend to most things other than a gaping hole which it has been determined there was none.
Sure glad no one was hurt, boats can be replaced but lives can't be.
Stay safe guys, water don't play and can hurt you quick.

Glad everyone is okay. I’m with the feller that mentioned how much weight was at the transom.

I sunk one boat in the early 90’s and have had 23 inch transoms installed on several boats since. Your life doesn’t come with a warranty.

Can't imagine a boat this big with all its safety equipment would allow this to sink from a rogue wave,,,I have almost filled my ranger a time or two on Sardis ,especially at the ramp,,,, and it never sank,,,,

Lot of difference in glass and tin, glass wins~! Top heavy center console did not help matters either.
