    I hope they are making money with the knowledge and the equipment that they have of fishing and the lakes, the big plus is the help to us part-timers in one way or the other, hiring for trip to learn different techniques or to take a special guest fishing and furnish the best equipment.

    I wouldnt knock any of the guides we have around here nor was I trying to knock them! I think most of them are great guys! And great fishermen!

    I think it's very reasonable to ask for a guide fee and license. They are profiting from a resource that taxpayers maintain. If your making less than 8.00 an hour guiding , that's your decision. No one is forcing you to do it .

    I respect guides and the hard work they put in to make a living. Long hours, terrible weather and likely many trying clients lol. And do the math on what they charge less expenses. They are definitely not making a killing. Hats off to you guides
