Benefit tournament

Guys this is a benefit tourney for a local Southaven police officer and his family. Just a few days ago his Mother in-law was returning home from a trip to the beach with his kids. They were involved in a tragic accident and they lost his Mother in-law and his 13 year old daughter and his son was critically injured. I understand he was released from hospital yesterday.
As we all know there is never enough insurance to cover all these unplanned expenses and this is just a way to try to help offset a tiny bit of that. I know a lot of folks that see this will want to make a donation so to try to simplify that if you will pm me Iâ€™ll give you a name and address to send donations to.

Also going to have a raffle for a bunch of neat gear. There has been overwhelming support from a great group of folks who are sponsors on our site and some that are not sponsors but still deserve our support. I have most of them listed here and will up date the list as others come onboard.

You guys that can, even if you don’t want to or can’t fish the tourney you really need to come out to the weigh in and get in on the raffel. These guys are working overtime getting sponsors. Going to be a bunch of really nice prizes to give away. Go back and check the sponsor list. It’s growing every day.

At the weigh-in site, before and during the weigh-in, Keith Mallett and Donna Holloway along with a crew of volunteers will be cooking Hamburgers/Hotdogs, chips and water will also be provided. There will be no charge for this, strictly donation only. And all donations will be greatly appreciated since every dime of donations go straight to this family. Even if your not fishing come on out get a bite to eat, participate in the raffle and have a good time for a great cause.
