Should provide a wind break there too if the forecast holds. I wasn’t sure if it was open.

You’ll be fine if you’re careful. Like Rees said it’s supposed to be 5-10 but sometimes that can seem like 10-15 on Sardis. Nnw wind I think they are calling for so that side rees suggested will be substantially out of any wind.

Anything with a northerly direction is good there, anything else could be an issue if it gets up. I used that ramp a ton last spring with all the north winds we had.

Tuesday we were there fishing the south side and had a particularly rough ride back to Wyatt’s. I’m looking forward to some nicer conditions.

I greatly appreciate the info guys. Just for my own education, do the fish generally migrate from east to west toward the dam this time of year? Or is it really just out of the creek towards the middle of the lake? forgive me if im asking too much, just want to learn!

Not my rhythm or reason to then this time of the year, been catching fish at bot the east end and the west end all spring. Seems the bigger fish are west but the numbers arent as good.

Good luck tomorrow! I’ll be getting out there in the morning from the Hwy 7 ramp and heading to the main lake.

Also saw last night that’s it’s a free fishing weekend, no license required to purchase.
