    Default Wyatt Crossing

I’ am new to Sardis fishing and was wondering about launch points. Wyatt Crossing seems to be very nice and I’ have had good conversations with the owners. It seems to get very low there and I was wondering about the logistics. Where do y’all put in at?

Under water right now. Solar panels on top of the light poles are even under water.

I generally run the lake from the dam.

Ramps are all under water. You can launch at wyatts but it's by the store on the road to the ramp.

Just curious, but is that little bait shop right there still open?

Been closed the few times I went. Also I’d never wait to get bait at the ramp. Matter fact I don’t even think they have minnows. If that’s why asking.

The bait shop has had minnows every time I have stopped there. One time this spring a storm knocked out his power and he lost thousands but he was still able to work thru it. Great guy. I agree there is always a risk of passing open bait shops until you get to the last available one. But again he has not let me down yet.

They seem like very nice people and have some new facilities there...restrooms/showers, etc. I’ve talked to Phyllis many times and she’s always been really helpful. I was just wondering about logistics from there to where you would fish.... is there good fishing around that area or do you have long boat ride to get into fish. I’ve never fished Sardis and am making plans and doing some research to be ready for next Spring. Eventually I would like a weekend place down there.

Usually very close to good fishing. All depends on time of year and water levels. Like any other lake, you just have to locate them.
