Default 4/13/19 Okatibbee - Wind, Rain, Fish

Had to fight heavy winds & downpours, but we managed 45 this morning in super shallow water (12-15 inches). I love it when they have no where to go but straight away, leaving a wake with their dorsals! Couldn’t get pics or videos of the action because I had my phone in dry storage... well we did manage to get a pic of the first dink of the day. LOL!

    Love living in ‘Merica!

Nice catch. That bay has always produced fish for me this time of the year

I started out in that bay by Collinsville landing trying to avoid the wind a little. Caught a few, but finally gave up & went & battled the elements to fish where I wanted to... Got to use my rain gear for the first time in a while!

I don’t blame you! I was desperate though, because I didn’t get to go any during the week like I had planned...
