    Default Jig pole

Hey guys Looking for a super stout jig pole with a stout tip preferably a rear seat pole. a broom stick is a little heavy and short for my liking but something of that nature. I love my Sammy heaton for its purposes but where and how I fish and what is to come I need something that will set the hook when your pole is 6ft up through the middle, and on the back side of buck brush. Any poles out there??

Todd Huckabe rod should fit your bill. Don’t know if they have a rear seat though. I like my duck commander 10ft for that but it’s center mount. Going to be hard to find a rear seat that stout.

Try the new B'n'M Tree Thumper. I believe it may be just what youre looking for. Super light, portuguese rear seat handle and pretty dadgum stiff!

I have a Ozark cork handle with a rear seat 11ft. It’s plenty stiff and tough. I also just purchased a Tree Thumper but my dad has taken it from me. It’s a beast.

I use a B'n'M brush cutter for that type fishing, super stout but a bit heavy. Looked at that tree thumper and agree with the others that may fit the bill quite nicely for you.

You need to consider a Thump City rod... Plenty of back bone, yet sensitive and still very light weight!
Look for the old Carolina Skiff
Loaded down with too much gear...

As mentioned above, the BnM Tree Thumper is the ticket. It has the backbone of a Brushcutter, a sensitive tip, rear reel seat, and cork handle. Put a BnM BAN01 on it, and it balances perfectly and can be held all day.

I have had Sam Heaton. BGJP. Bucks customs and in my opinion they are junk for big fish. I use a old school brush cutter the blue one a Wally Marshall signature series or the red crppiemaxx I don’t carry a net I have slung a countless number of 2.5 to 3 lb fish in the boat with them poles. They all are a little heavy but u will get use to it.

I’m still using a Wally. That pole with 20# spider wire will horse just about anything into the boat.
