In fiberglass too. Look at a couple things when buying.
    1) How wide is it between the gunwells at the front pedestal, that's where you will spend most of you time and plenty of room is very important.
    2) Look at boats on the water and see how they sit in the water, sitting fairly low and close to the rubrail is a pretty good sign it will spider rig well in the waves. Look at the makes and models of that boat.
Remember the longer the better, my 18 foot boat fished good but my 20 footer fishes way better. Good luck, the search can drive you crazy but once you get in one it will be worth it!

I agree on the larger fiberglass boats as well for rigging or pulling of any kind. One thing I also looked for when shopping used older glass boats was the option of placing two extra seat bases on the front deck. I didn't want the bases installed in hatches / lids of any sorts. The double seat setups are fine for most folks, but I like to be able to go thru the middle of my seats without stepping over the high framing. I'm not a small guy and fish with others that are not as agile as they used to be. Swinging over the gunwales doesn't appeal to be that much and with my transport rack up it's not even an option to swing around outside from the left seat.
