BNM sharp shooter 6 or the sam heaton super sensitive are great poles. If you want a cheaper one look a the gray shakespeare micro series rods. I have one in 7' and really like it. there only around 20 bucks and great little rods. I have even pulled cranks with mine.

Lots of good choices and everyone will have an opinion. BnM has some good ones. Sams Super Sensitive is good I hear. One of mine I have and like is the Okuma Celilo and that won't break the bank. Might be worth checking out.

I love my sharp shooter 6 but I wouldn't call it an ultra lite. It's design is for dock shooting and has lots of backbone with a fast tip. My opinion anyway.

The Sharp Shooter may be just what I'm looking for. I have several ultra lite rods. I'm looking for one rod with duel use. Charlie Brewers "Do nothing" slider worms and suitable for crappie fishing with jigs of say 1/16 and 1/8 oz weight. I love bass fishing with the do nothing technique and have been fishing Charlies worms for years. 1/16, 3/16, and 1/8 oz heads. Rods used is the past was fast tipped with a good backbone. I use 6lb line on with the slider worms.

ESP PowerLite 6'6" ... if you like a extended handle
    ESP PowerLite 6' ... if you don't

They are pretty much the same rod, but the 6'6" rod has a 6" extension on the handle butt (as shown on website : Power Lite rods – Norsemen Outdoors ) You can purchase these rods cheaper from Grizzly Jig.

If you don't mind spending some money, I have a 6' ultra lite G loomis that I brim and shell cracker fish with. It is my favorite rod of all the ones I have. I cringe every time daddy picks it up to fish with. LOL
