I have never used them but I know a lot of folks use them for pushing instead of pulling

Have never cranked but was in Walmart today and saw arkie 220s for $2 each. But they show to only go to 8’ so are these useful on lakes like Sardis or horseshoe in AR? Or do u need the bigger ones that run deeper? I’m sure they have a purpose just trying to build a little knowledge and appropriately apply funds. I tried reading through the cranking threads but wow so much info.

I push them and they work excellent, I keep a pair of all 68 colors in my boat at all times. You can run slower with them too, like 1 mph and they run great.

By pushing I assume you mean off the front of the boat? This would be great for me as I have foot controlled TM so I’m tethered to the front anyway. Thank you

Go to the Arkie website, the selection is way better.

Yes you can push cranks just like if you were spider rigging. Have to use a heavier weight though. 2-3 oz will work.
YouTube
here is a link to how its done.
I'm assuming ScottV still makes those weights that he was using in the video. I have some and they are great. If you start to push cranks then I'd shoot him a PM and see if he will sell you some.
