    Default Will my boat fit?

Dumb question here. I have a 16.5' StarCraft aluminum bass boat. 40hp Yamaha outboard tilted by the usual motor tote. Boat is sitting on the factory trailer (Star Craft I think). My question is, will my rig fit in my garage? Inside the garage I have 22' from wall to roll up door. My boat is at my home in Saucier and I am now living in Meridian or I would just measure. I attempted to measure last weekend but was by myself and no there to hold the tape while I got the measurement. I just couldn't get an accurate measurement. If it won't fit my garage I will have to find a place to store it. I prefer to have my boat at my house. HELP

    Default Will my boat fit?

My Xpress is 16’... the specs on it says overall length trailer/boat/motor is 20.7’. And I have a jack plate that adds about 6-7 inches or so... I would say it would be a tight fit probably. I think the specs are with the motor down not on the motor toter.

My old 16 with 40 would not fit at old house with standard garage with out cocking it in sideways. Then it was only thing you could put in garage. If you had a swing you get it possibly would fit.

You can buy a kit to convert the tongue to the folding type.

Can you push the boat in the garage and tilt the motor down to allow the other few inches needed

Most garage doors are wider than mine but just in case you may need to consider will your trailer fit width wise. My boat is only 17.5, but it's really wide and will fit length wise in my garage but it will barely fit through the door side to side. My last attempt to put it in cost me a new taillight. So I bought a metal carport to keep it under. Just a thought.

I appreciate the heads up Mac Daddy. I'm petty sure mine will fit easily but I will measure to make sure.
