    Default fishing okatibbee creek lauderdale county


    i know the spillway has more crappie than probably any other fish so i know okatibbee creek has to have tons of them im curious where would you guys try to fish for crappie in a creek?

    im fishing down past the airport close to enterprise i found an amazing spot about 70 feet wide double the size of the creek everywhere else iv been catching channel and blues like crazy now i wana target some crappie

    I have friends that fish it under the Arundel Rd bridge and at the bridge just past the old Fish Hatchery.

    dude thats my exact spot loli just found it on the map a week ago and iv went 3 times so far i even go down the railroad tracks it gets wider for catfish fishing off the bridge its kidna hard on arundel road its very shallow there and lots of current its fine for bank poles but you have to go uo the creek or down to find slower moving water it seems

    Would you be able to slip in with a kayak? Between that spot, the Chunky River, and Chickashay you have lots of water all to yourself. All kinds of small creek type fishing to be had in those places.

    im to afraid id falll in the waterlolz i usually like to take least 2 rods when i fish and i like setting bank poles i really like my new spot i found walking down the railroad track and fishing off the railroad bridge its a great spot completely secluded just hope i dont get shot by hunters randomly hunting back there
