Hey guys i'm new to the forum was gonna see if you guy's had any information or tips for fishing the ten tom waterway in northeast ms? me and a friend is planning on coming down in a week or so and staying with his realtives for a week. and was wanting to fish there.We are goin to be staying around the amory area and prob be mostly fishing amory or smithville pools.with maybe aberdeen a day or so. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Work the old river runs, look for 15-20 feet of water. Be careful when running it can get shallow quick
Donald and Cal both know what they are talking about, G does also. I don't usually fish that far north on the TenTom, but I know enough about the areas that all of these techniques will work at any given time. Weather and water conditions dictate which one will be best. I think you are being wise to bring your spider rig set-up. It is so versatile and you can quickly eliminate water. Once located you can decide how you want to fish for them. Spider rig, single pole dipping, casting single jigs, or pulling corks. All will work.
