Never stayed there, but guys on here say they are nice & convenient to the lake. I would tell you to book it now!
Hello all, I am from Missouri. Planning a trip with the wife to Grenada the first week of April. Having a hard time locating a place to stay. I seen these cabins at the state park. Their website gives little info. Has anyone stayed in these cabins. Appreciate any info you can provide. Be my first time fishing the lake. Excited and nervous. Used to fishing deep rocky lakes with 5 to 20ft visibility here in the Ozarks. Should be a good challenge to figure them out. Thanks again for any help you can provide.

Hugh White is a state owned park & motel. They are reasonable and clean, Call now to book, they go fast!
Thanks. Figured i would get some honest answers here. Talked to a few individuals that rent other cabins around the lake. They were all booked for the week i want. I asked them about their thoughts on these cabins and they both said the were dumps basically. If it were'nt for the wife i would'nt care much. Got to be better then camping in a tent !! Found some exterior pics of the cabins and they look fine to me. Wish i could find some interior pics. Thanks
Stayed there a few times. Not bad. Clean couple of beds, stove and fridge. If doing much cooking might want to bring a couple of pans and skillet. Usually something there but not much to work with. I always take my own pillow.
I sent you a PM
Nice, clean cabins there. Don't rent cabin #5 unless you have to......about a 30 deg incline in front of the cabin. Makes parking a boat and unhooking a pain!

All of these were built many years ago. Pretty small and cramped, no cable tv last time I was there. Try and get one that has been enlarged instead of having the screened in porch. They are clean but things are tight. The last one I stayed in, the shower was so small I had to open the door in able to raise my leg and wash my feet. I'm 6'4" and my shoulders were bumping each side of the shower. Could stand up and take one step from the foot of the bed and be in the kitchen. If you are coming to fish you will be just fine. If you want a nice camping experience you will be disappointed.

Cabins are clean, but I wouldn’t call them nice. Fine for me but my wife said never again. She’s fond of Hampton inn or Marriott.
