Didn't have any car wax..I washed and rinsed using Dawn..Then wiped down with Blakemore Reel Magic..They look a heck of allot better

Car wax will also keep your line from sticking to the pole. I have a couple 20+ year old poles that the clear coat is coming off of. I was thinking about a light sanding and some spray can clear coat. Don’t know if it’ll work or not.

I use Blakemore Reel Magic on my reels and line but not on my poles. I fish a double jig rig that the top hook is held to the rod with an O ring. Anything oilyOriginally Posted by KnightShadow10
