    Default Duncan Marine

Just had some work done to my boat at Duncan Marine. Extremely nice people to do business with and very knowledgeable about a variety of makes and models. I high recommend them. I drove almost 2 hours to try their business and will do it many more times if needed (hopefully not).

Spent some time talking to the owner and not one time did he give me a sales pitch to buy a new boat. I was impressed

I'm Bias when it comes to Duncan Marine . I bought my first boat a Marine Mart in 1972 from Tom Duncan which is known as Duncan Marine now which it became after moving to it's location on Old Fannin Rd . Tom's son Bob Duncan owned and ran the business for many years fast forward to today and the Mechanic that worked his way from doing general clean up into a master mechanic now owns the business . There are actually two different parts to the business the Boat store is Duncan Marine and then there is RJ 's Outboards which belonged to RJ Koskovich . RJ purchased whole business . Rob Koskovich RJ's son heads the mechanical side and is a well schooled mechanic with others that know how to service a boat . Couple of things to think about if you need a boat or service in the central Ms area There want be any surprises everything is up front . They want to earn your business . they are sportsman , And they have plans to be in business for several more years if not forever . RJ has been able to pass his people skills along to everyone that works there . It's a happy place to shop or visit . You can't get better treament and fill like your important to them . The Ironic thing is you are !

I bought a boat last year from a guy that lives in Jackson and has a place on Eagle Lake. The motor and boat was serviced by RJ's ever since it was new. I have the service records and receipts from there for the last 27 years. They did a complete powerhead rebuild on the engine in 2017, the motor runs like a sewing machine. Just wish they were closer, hard to find good, honest mechanics. Not that I've had any issues with the engine.

aren't these two different dealerships? RJ's Outboard Sales and Service is on Old Fannin Road and sells Skeeter and G3. Duncan Marine is on HWY 25 and sells RANGER and Tracker.
