    Default Handicap landing at Grenada?

My Dad decided he wanted to come fish the tourney with me this weekend and although he can walk good with a cane he doesn’t do well getting in and out of the boat. Are there any wheel chair ramps available or do all the landings have good sturdy docks at the ramp?

The dock at Grenada is usable, just pull around to the other side of it.

The dock at Grenada Landing in great. I have a neighbor that I carry sometimes that is 86. I carry a step stool so he can get in up on the parking area before I launch. It works good for him.

The floating dock is pretty stable, I agree with deltarat though. If there is anyway he can possibly get in the boat in the parking lot, just let him get in, get comfortable and launch the boat just as if you were fishing alone. If you use the dock just make sure to tie off good and take your time either way, the fish ain't going nowhere. Good luck, hope y'all do good!

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I have a small step ladder I’ll bring for him. Hopefully the fish will be biting and he will forget about his bad hip!

I fixed a place for a rod holder right by the left seat for his rods, so he does not have to climb up on one of the decks to fish. He can sit there and handle his rods on the left side without having to move. I fish out the right side from on the front deck. It seems to work well for him.
