If anyone happened to be on hwy 315 between Helena and Sardis this morning and found part of a new Millineum rod rack with 6 brand new Denali rods and reels (minus 2 tip sections) they are mine.
Was heading to Enid and just happened to look in my rearview mirror as I was pulling into town of Sardis and my heart sank when all I could see where two tips dangling from back rack. Pulled over and saw that the entire front rack had worked loose from base and fell out. And they had been checked and tightened before I left.
Anyway, I looked hard all the way back to my brother in laws house but looks like someone picked them up. Like I said, I know it's a long shot but thought I would post here and see if I got lucky.

So sorry, maybe you will get them back! MAYBE
If you drive like I drive, the condition probably won't be too great, if you are lucky enough to find them. I'll keep an ear out.
Tell'em I'll be there.
Man i hate that for you. Hopefully someone will be able to get them back to you

Hate to hear that, I couldn't imagine the distraught. I have the same racks and have noticed the hand knob threads backing out at the base as well. Takes a lot of hand strength to lock them down, I used a pair of channel locks on one of my hand knobs cause it wouldn't tighten. After seeing this post, I will be thru bolting my bottom base hand knob as well as the upper rack as well, get rid of that mickey mouse crap. Lot of money riding on these racks down the road, and most time to dark to see them when heading to the lake.
I have the older TR300's. Takes a 1/2 " wrench to tighten. No problems. At my age not a lot of torque in my hands. No upgrade for me. I'd replace those knobs with hard bolts and a wrench in the boat. jmo.
