Headed to Sardis Monday afternoon for a few days. Son out of school next week for break. Told him I’d show him how they grow them in Mississippi. Friend said the dam store was closed temporarily. Where else is good for minnows ? Any other input on what’s working now also is appreciated.

Finding minnows at Sardis since the Dam Store closed has been a problem. Everyone around lake was out yesterday. I stopped at new store in Hernando and got minnows for me and two of my buddies who were at Sardis without minnows. The minnows at Hernando were great quality and I got a good count.

Lakeside Market on the north side of Sardis, like you are going to Holiday, had minnows this morning-$2.50/dozen. You are going at a good time-had a great weekend. Get a bunch of minnows because your short/keeper ratio will be around 8:1 or at least it was for us. Good luck!

Lakeside Market at Harmontown was also out of minnows on Friday. Our short/keeper ratio was 5:1 on Friday.
