    3 way about 3 or 4 feet above the crank. Use a 6 lb mono tag for the jig, I've found that the jig gets hung more than the crank, lighter mono will break and save the crank

    Do it both ways. I have always done it pulling. Never caught more on jig but you will get that extra few at times to make it worth it.

    I do it all the time. Just tie the jig in a loop knot about 3’ above the crank. I use a Fas Snap so I can change jig colors or sizes. Don’t need a 3-way swivel.
