    Default Crankfest 2019

With the 2018 Crankfest in the books it's time to start thing about next year. We moved the date into August this past year and it proved to be a great move, with tons of fish caught and the fellowship was simply awesone!!!
The date will be August 10, 2019 and will be held at Enid Lake. Cossar State Park has all 16 cabins available at this time. We hope to do one more gathering during the week than we have done in the past, just a meet and greet to let folks visit and fellowship. We will continue to have the gathering on Saturday afternoon and the 3pm target time for eating seemed to work real well.
Thanks to everyone who attended the 2018 event, Ms. Tammy and I were totally blown away by how many folks showed up and hope to see everyone again next year.
Save the date, August 10, 2019!

Many thanks to John and Tammy for hosting another successful Crankfest. Good friends, good fishing and good food all at the same place? Count me in for next year!

I guess I'll get started building some brush guards and rub rails on my boat now, because I'm going to Grenada at least once next year and play bumper boats.

Thanks from the KY boys. We’re still on the road after one last day on Grenada. Special thanks to John and Miss Tammy for all you did for us. We’ll be making our reservations for next year in a couple days.
    We had a ball.

Dux, thanks for catching, cleaning and especially cooking that Asian carp. That stuff was very good. I hope and pray they come up with a solution to that problem, but I've got to say that is a very good eating fish.

I bought it cleaned from a friend who owns Mann’s Fish Market in Tatumsville near Ky Lake. They are tough to clean but if folks could get past the word CARP, lots of folks would gladly eat it.

    I’m glad you enjoyed it.
