    Default Sardis Lower Lake

While cleaning our keepers last week at Engineers Point the guys that had just finished cleaning theirs told us they had caught their limit on the lower lake using minnows. I’m more used to spider rigging than pulling crankbaits; if I get to come back down Monday I’m wondering which I should try. Suggestions?

Sounds like some mighty brave folks, considering there is no length limit at the lower lake. Why would they go to Engineers to clean them when there is a cleaning station at the lower lake ramp? Sure it wasn't a group keeping short fish from the main lake? And stick with the plastics, no use tending to minners this time of year, IMO.

Well to be fair to Grumpy, I was just assuming the limit (or limit's) that was caught on the lower lake would more then certainly include more then a few fish under 12 inches, just was curious as to why clean them at Engineers Point as opposed to the lower lake station. Be tough to explain "IF" they were cleaning anything under 12" fish at that station. Maybe the lower lake cleaning station is down or something, but I still wouldn't go to Engineers to clean them if so, Mr. Green jeans bases his tickets on what he see's or finds to be true of the situation at hand.

Thanks, I wasn’t real sure if I should believe them. They mentioned they were about to head to Enid but were still there after I cleaned my 9, packed up everything and headed home.

4 per person as far as I know, same as the main lake. And not sure if the warden will go for that shade excuse, if they are short fish from the lower lake being cleaned at Engineer's Point.

Not passing judgement on anyone however "IF" you are not caught on or coming off the water they might lose a days work but most likely no one will be there on court day but the guy with the ticket .jmo.
