I'm still gonna ask Mr warden before I go to doing anything maybe wrong. I know everything I read on the interview may not be 100% right.

I've been told by two wardens on lower lake that pole limit is same as upper lake. I sent a note to MDWFP in Jackson and their reply was no pole limit outside rip rap. I keep a copy of their email reply in my phone just in case I run into a warden who says otherwise.

We've been doing great on the lower lake in our kayaks. Kept a limit every 3 hour trip of 10" and up crappie we've been on. Caught a good sized catfish that wanted to carry me where it wanted until it got tired. I asked a person on the bank if wanted it so I didn't release it. She was happy to get it, would have been happier with my crappie for sure.
Only thing I can find in the book of rules is in the trotline section. 100 hooks per person/boat. So 100 poles with 1 hook each would be the same except where other rules apply.
