Default Don't leave your inflatible life jackets in the truck...

Both of my inflatible life jackets "blew up", when I left them in the back seat of my truck. I know they didn't get wet, so what is it, the heat, that makes them do that?
    That's gonna cost!

Yep, I’ve had several go off due to the heat

$35 for two new cartridges... Only good news is that they were probably close to expiring anyway!

Heat/humidity will certainly set them off. At least you didn't have them crammed in your boat storage compartment, like a friend of mine did. His went off, and as it so happened he had it laying on top of a jam packed storage compartment, and it busted the compartment lid right in half. He not only had to replace the cartridge system on the vest, but had to get a replacement lid for his boat !!

I won a couple at work and they said to remove the co2 cartridge when I wasn’t wearing them. I thought they punctures when you put them in, but apparently not
