And I also personally think as fisherman we should take responsibility for what is happening on these lakes we fish instead of blaming other people and the way they fish. I guess what I'm saying is maybe we all should look in the mirror and talk to that guy in front of you. I have been fishing Washington for 5 or 6 years and I personally have seen the decline in the quality of fish. Is there still some 3lb fish in the lake maybe but not as many as it use to be.

Again, if somebody was there handing out tickets, this would not be happening. It’s not monitor.

They should deputize someone local that can write tickets that’s out there all the time. All the politicians ain’t missing a meal and our natural resources and infrastructure are paying the price

People have been fishing with yo yos for decades. The popularity of the lake with the help of the internet has alot to do with it i believe. Spider rigging or trolling became popular i'm guessing in the past 12 or years along with the internet boom. I believe there lies your problem, not the yo yo fisherman who have been there for forever. I'm sure yo yos don't help the situation, but neither do the 100 plus boats that are out there fishing...

I run yo yo's at Sardis if I lived down there I would do the same there. It's just another way to pass time on the water with family and friends. I pull cranks and I single pole also. Rules and regulations are there to follow same as anything else. You can drink and drive 100 times and all it takes is to get busted 1 time. Washington has gotten a lot of attention in the last few years. I would never have known it existed if it wasn't for social media. Social Media is taking its toll on crappie fishing just like it's taking its toll on society. Every picture you post has to be bigger and better than everybody's else. Every body going after limits of fish for a picture in a $40000 boat. Only in America.

Any and all methods of crappie fishing can be and is abused. If wardens,or a warden could show up 1 day a month fall, winter,
and summer to put doubt in someone's mind that they might get checked it would help. Instead of hounding a local warden,
hound a supervisor. The squeaking wheel gets the grease.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Changing the possession limit to 30 total and the daily limit to 15 would help.
