I'm in the early stages of planning a once in a lifetime trip fishing slab crappies. I'm looking for info on Grenada Lake.
I am interested in lodging options like motels, cabins for rent weekly. Open to tent camping as long as snakes aren't an issue. No resorts please...
When is the best time to bobber fish big crappies?
Straight line Jig fish big crappies?
Big Bluegills would be a bonus...
I have my own boat but would hire a guide for a day, guide recommendations?
I'm retired so I can travel anytime, coming from North Dakota so as much info I can gather the better.
This trip will be in 2019...

Ducks are different! Crappie are everywhere... Lots of water between here and there...

been to grenada several times but my Canada fly-in trip was much more memorable.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
