    You are getting into bass lures now, those old "B's" could crawl a log, my favorite for wooded areas.

    No one color. 12 answers 12 different colors several different makes and everyone that has answered here has boxes on top of boxes of crank baits all different colors and makes. Now you know why I posted:

    Just one crank bait! Is this a trick question? No body can have just one.

    P.S. Be careful crappie fishing is very addictive and expensive.

    Boat = B break O out A another T thousand
    Be safe and good luck fishing

    Scrat...This was just something for others to see what there favorite crank bait is, nothing that can be held against you in a court of law. Just passing the day talking about crappie fishing ...

    "Just passing the day talking about crappie fishing ..." Same here have not got to fish in a while now with the weather not cooperating good. Just having a little fun with your post. Hope I didn't offend you as I have pretty much asked the same questions with artificial baits(jigs, tubs, grubs, etc.) and their best colors.
    I like Black/Chartreuse anything. Will be looking forward to seeing your reports and pictures when the fall bite starts soon.
    Be safe and good luck fishing
