North Mississippi and the Lake that shall remain Nameless was blessed with another gorgeous day.
I had just a few hours between work and spent the last half of the afternoon experiencing the THUMP!!! I managed to boat 7 keepers and threw 3 dinks back for another day.
It is good to see the water starting to slowly rise some. This lake needs more water.
I'm finally starting to learn new areas that hold these big crappie.
If the weather can only cooperate some, I'll be back tomorrow afternoon too...
It took a little experimenting to find what they crappie liked... I only use jigs.
Seems like almost everyone else uses minnows on this lake.
It is supposed to rain again starting tomorrow evening. I hope it holds off long enough for me to feel the THUMP one more time...
