That is one fine ride, neatest I've ever seen it, usually see it when you are coming off the water and stuff is everywhere!!!!!

If I were thinking of a new ride it would be a large deep v boat of some kind with a very large tiller steer motor, the room they offer is second to known, wish there were some older ones on the market.

Been running a deep v for 10 years and just went to a center console. Deep v is a great boat in rough water and rides good. The big downfall is they set so so high out of the water and the wind really catches them so it's difficult to control the boat with your trolling motor even with drift socks or chains. If I was going to spider rig, it would not be in a deep v. Fought the trolling motor for years.

Getting in and out at the ramp is a pain here too, no docks to speak of so you have to get wet getting in and out. Would love to have one for summer time cranking tho.

Can't speak directly about the model you are looking to purchase. I Love my War Eagle 548ldv, and would not trade it for anything else. Rock solid and i really like the T-lock cap rail system that Scott Echols (HiTek) built all my rod holders for. My War Eagle loyalty has nothing to do with me living in Alabama. No allegiance to Auburn "War Eagle", I'm a Southern Miss "Golden Eagle" grad

    Rod Safe

You can google Rod Safe for phone numbers or I can get them for you. Grizzly Jig carries them.
