Something tells me that Ranger boats have way too much mark up to give one away at every tourney....

ACT is exactly what the sport of crappie fishing needs. Big payouts, tv, Internet, level playing field, no BS, livewell checks, national sponsor support, true fish care weigh-in tanks, polygraph, and a true Classic Qualification process = no phone call invites to the Classic. Fewer tournaments spread apart on good lakes that will elevate crappie fishing to new levels. It's about time! You are going to see some boys come out of retirement to fish this trail. Saddle up boys!

17% to be exact. Figure 100 teams at 425.00. Only give a handful of boats away. Probably MUCH cheaper than one prime time TV add.
8 boats X 20,000.00 is only 160,000. For Ranger, that's like you going to McDonalds for a Happy Meal. New Crappie Circuit

I'm glad to see it ...I think, but the boat entrance fee of $425.00 will eliminate a few I think, but what do I know. I'm just an old po' fart. Some of the local tournaments may suffer from this? It will get in your pocket to fish Crappie Master's, Magnolia, and cc.com the same month. This could cause a few divorces also...

Almost everyone will agree that bigger sponsors and payouts are welcome. The only issue I can see is the 10 day off-limits rule before the four day official practice begins. That means if Crappie.com, Magnolia, Crappie Masters, or Crappie USA have a tourney within 2 weeks prior, you will have to choose which one to participate. These clubs are already established and have extremely loyal members. That's gonna be a problem for a lot of serious tournament fishermen.

Yep, decision's, decision's, decision's. The boat entries will be falling off for some of the local tournaments, I hate to see that, they have worked so hard to build their tournaments up.......

I doubt it will make that much difference in entries.. Can't see everyone running our to pay that kind of money..if they are not fishing the pro tournaments now
