It sounds good to me. $425 entry fee. 10 day grace period before the 4 day "practice period" before each tournament. Should help level the playing field.
I see where there is a new crappie fishing circuit being formed by Lucas Oil. Anyone got details??

They have a little more info up on their site within the last couple days. Look like payback will be much more reasonable compared to some other circuits. They are being run by the old BASS folks is what I hear.

Pretty sure Paul Alpers has a role in this too, he is the former owner of Crappie Masters

Paul Alpers and Matt Morgan are heading it up. Ranger Boats and Lucas Oil are Major sponsors. Will give a Ranger Aluminum boat to the winners at every tourney.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.

Name and logo change from the original. Same schedule.

doesn't look too bad except the payouts are based on 100 boats. They need to post payouts of up to 99 boats. Will not be many 100 boat tournaments. The other circuits are doing lots of things right and too well.
