Lake is 249.9" now. No. 2 ramp is still 2' away from use. No. 1 ramp is usable at 260'. You have to allow for silting in on COE lakes.

The ramp by the camp ground is dry ground. The ramp on the point is mud and silted in. You got about 20' to the creek from ramp. The creek is 6" to 12" deep from the ramp to lake for about 200 yards. I called the corp Monday and asked them to dig out the mud at the ramp because they had 2 big track hoes that were about 100 yards away they said they would look into it. Tuesday they loaded them up and left. Still got mud.

No fish for me or any other boats I saw. Takes 252 to get a boat in at ramp number 2 and then you have to follow ditch or low place to get out at Hurricane. The Corp made two more Indian Mounds and messed the road up to the Indian Mound and you have to be really careful out there now because of the ruts they created. 253 is safe and above at Hurricane, but you still better watch what direction you take off in a hurry.

Probably taking the equipment to the end of Old Sardis Rd. They are going to build a parking lot there so folks can "ENJOY THE LAKE". No ramp, just a parking lot. Big article in the local paper.

Yeah I heard about that parking lot. I wish they would have dug that mud out first. Would have only taken a hour. Oh well rain coming this week that should get it usable.

Two more Indian Mounds created next to the one that has always been there. Found artifacts there last year and did a study or a dig or something, now we have 3 white poles out there and rip rap and rock on all 3
