The few times I have been down there the place was pretty crowed on the water but the boat ramps empty. Hope we dont run into a situation where we have to wait forever to get on the water.
As if getting up at 3:15am to avoid the 45min wait in line wasn't bad enough.

Bulldog...what ramp did you launch from? I usually put in at Holiday so I was wondering if the water level is high enough to launch at the high water ramp there or not?
Thanks,

I was talking about holiday lodge! You can launch there but only 2 wide. An only at the lower ramp so the line was back up along ways passed the camp site. Both parking lots the lodge grass full!! Guess it's just that time.
Long way to go to get to the high water ramp as of last Saturday.
I have been wondering. Heard some talk from a few people but nothing like a picture for proof! I live about 15 min. from Sardis. I am setting my boat up this week for slow trolling. I've always used a bass boat but this year I'm trying it with a pontoon. Hopefully I'll catch a few.
We spent Saturday and sunday on Sardis. We kept 29 on Sunday with at least 10 in the 14 to 15 1/2 inch range. Fished 5 ft to as shallow as 2 1/2 feet.
Fatrap...where were you fishing...Piney Point...Blackwater?? or near the Dam? Clear Creek.. Just asking...
Thanks,
