How long do you normally pull during a day of fishing. Got no room for golf cart batteries or the money. Thanks
I have a Ranger 520 with an Ulterra 36 and can pull cranks for around 6 hours.

Quick question. On diving depth charts a crankbait dives x amount of feet with 60 feet of line out, is that 60 feet from where the line enters the water?

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

Yes.....let line out according to the depth chart then guess how many feet from rod tip to where line enters the water and add that amount to it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I have pulled cranks in the past, but am interested in pushing them. If I use a 3 oz weight and 4' of line below it to tie onto the crankbait, will that work well? Is pushing more/less effective than pulling? I would think it would be easier to turn around pushing them, plus the rods are all in front of you, easier to watch from my drivers seat.

According to my 7th grade math if you have 15 feet out and 10 feet deep you will actually be 11.18 feet back.. And they tell you that you'll never use algebra I!!!!
