    Default Friendly competition

    Hello all.
Mississippi Crappie Club is a small group of people that would like to set up some friendly competitions starting the first of next year.
We are in the process of setting up some guidelines just fishing the big 4 using public boat ramps.
More or less just a friendly competition and having a good time.
No guides, no live scopes, and no people that fish tournaments for a living.
If you are interested or have any ideas or questions, please feel free to post.
    Thank you.

I’m definitely interested! I used to enjoy fishing the fruit jars!

No live scope? but you can spider rig and pull crank baits don’t make sense to me. So I’m out.

Roger that . Locals will be heavily favored . Don't think so ? invite someone from Grenada to come to Tombigbee waterway and compete with locals with no electronics . Will locals not fish with electronics every trip (even days before) when not in competition ? You are correct it will be a small/ local group . I personally would not fish any where without at least a bottom flasher. Worked on Enid on boat patrol and went after many that ran aground and Was over taken over by wind . Almost spent the night at Terrence because I could not use maps to find way back from Turkey Creek . I worked " Thunder on the water " and had to help assist locals from the lake .

I've had a hard time finding my way back from Turkey creek myself . Bad area when the water is just right .

Will be a good thing for small one man boats . I would suggest having all fishing to check in and have a phone so no one is left on water . All lakes have emergency numbers as well if they get in an issue situation . Best of luck to you .IF ANYONE LEAVES WATER THEY SHOULD CHECK IN BEFORE DOING SO . JMO .
