    Hey BigOrangeSlab!
I plan on long lining Tims, but I just started trying to long line in the Fall on Normandy near trees with decent results for just getting into it. I had to anneal the hooks otherwise around the tree tops I would break off a bunch. My wife and daughter went with me on woods yesterday and caught 5 keepers, 1 being 13” and another 14” both thick females. A couple white bass and a yellow bass. We caught a bunch of the yellow bass they were mostly really small.
My setup is not very good though. I have a 17’ Key West, I put 2 rods out the back and 2 on the side. My fish finder is on the console, and my electric motor up front is tiller handle and not auto pilot. So, lots of running around, trying to check fish finder and keep bought straight. My wife was operating the trolling motor yesterday until I moved up there to let them reel in fish and net. It was lots of fun just watching them. I would re cast for them.
We started with different color plastics on 1/16 oz pony head spinners I made, they were going after Bobby Garland electric chicken so we swapped all the rods to that. We were still catching fish when we left. It was getting late, we got a late start. Had we been there earlier we might have loaded up!Name: IMG_5478.jpg
