Tims Ford Results May 20th 2017
Had 13 boats fish this tourney, Sat May 20th at Tims Ford. Weather was very nice and calm most of the day and the rain finally was no where in site during a tourney.Not been the case for a while now and yes it rained this day but only after we all got home. We had 12 of 13 boats make it to the weigh in with fish and we recognize 3 winners with 13 boats. Here are results.
Taking 1st place was team BnB, Robert Baker & Larry Britton. They bested the field with 8.74 pounds and also won the dock shooting bonus of $25. Taking 2nd place was JW Jackson fishing alone. He came in with 7.94 pounds and he also took the bf pot with a nice 1.78 BF. Taking 3rd place was team Lip Rippers Kyle Arp & Kevin Crittenden. They had 7.31 pounds.
Congrats too all of these folks for taking a place yesterday. We will switch over to nights for the next two tourneys and they both will take place on Normandy lake. June 16th on Friday night is next on our list. Good luck to all and come fish with us if you can.

Our club added in a few bonuses during tournaments for some added incentives. Bonuses such as dock shooting only. Tim's Ford is a pretty good lake for catching crappie on the docks. We offered a bonus of $25 to any team who would commit to only fishing the docks and nothing else. We called it a dock shooting only bonus......Last tourney we had a bonus called jigs only. We have more bonuses coming throughout the season. They are like crank baits only & bonus for fishing alone (solo bonus) we call it, and another is runt bonus. (smallest legal crappie)...Think about it...you have to decide to bring 6 good fish and one really little one which may cost you the tourney or not. Just a little something for laughing and fun.
