Thread: BlackNose Friday for MTCC and guests

MTCC fished the day after Thanksgiving when the rest of the world is out spending money on Black Friday. We fished what we called BLACKNOSE FRIDAY. The club also donated an additional $25 as a special bonus for any team who won with a BlackNose Big Fish. We all fished for best any crappie for our 7 fish sacks, but as said we all were looking for a big black nose crappie for big fish since a black nose would trump any big fish of any kind outside of being a black nose. The guys who fished this day really made a solid effort to know where to find large black nose as there were many teams with black nose entries among their biggest fish. Turned out, the biggest fish of the day did not get trumped out cause it was a black nose. The team that won our tourney was also winner of the black nose Friday big fish pot. Results are below.

Coming in first was Team Edwards, Coby and Rodney. They won with 7 fish limit weighing 9.75 pounds. They won big fish with 1.65 pounds as well. Coming in 2nd place was Robert Baker and Larry Britton with 7.48 pounds. These guys fished as a guest team with us this day. Taking third place was Joey Davis and James Holt with 6.94 pounds.

MTCC will fish our monthly tournament on December 19th back at Tim's Ford where this tourney took place. Congrats to all the teams who placed this day. We had a total of 3 people fishing as a guest and one guy joined up just before the tourney started or it would of been 4 guests. We appreciate each and every person who was able to support the tourney this day and did show up to fish it with us. We know all can not attend all times, but wanna say thanks to those did when they could this day.
