    Default Interest in the Club


    Hello. I came across this crappie club because I am interested in joining some crappie fishing fun whether it is fishing or just talking about crappie fishing. I want to learn more about the sport. I catch some crappie but I want to get better at it. I live in White House, Tn. It is 25 miles north of Nashville on I65. It is probably 1 1/2 hours from where you are. Is there any members near where I live. I would love to attend your meetings and learn more. I would also like to fish as a co-angler for a while with the club. Is non boaters allowed? Eventually I would hopefully use my own boat once I get the hang of it. I have fished bass tournaments but never crappie tournaments. Let me know if there is any long distance members in the club .

    Welcome tncrappiebass. We will be having a tournament Tim's Ford this Saturday the 20th. You are more then welcome to come. Fishing starts at 5:30am and weigh in is at 12:30pm. Not to sure if anyone lives that far north of where we fish. You can go to the Middle Tennessee Crappie Club web site. On there you will find contact an officer. Any one of those guys will be happy to tell you all about the club. We do have fun fishing the tournaments and general talking about crappie fishing. As far as getting the hang of the crappie tournaments all you have to do is go fish for crappie. The three lakes we fish are all different so it does make it interesting at times. Good luck and hope to see you at one of the club events.

    Hey tncrappiebass, I live in Gallatin, you're looking at more like a 2 hour drive from White House, I joined the club at the last tourney in May, they are a great bunch of guys n gals. I'm driving down to fish the tournament tomorrow, my son hasn't give me a answer if he is going to come so I have to leave the seat open for him, If he bails I will PM you if your willing to drive down there and meet at the ramp we can fish together. My wife is normally my partner but she doesn't shoot docks and isn't a big fan of the heat were having, I'll try to let you know by 6:00 tonight.

    Hi rayzor. I didn't hear from ya so I assume your son is fishing with you. Keep me in mind for the next tournament if your son or wife bails on you. I don't mind making the long drive. Thanks, Dave
