    Default Tims Ford

Well, it seems the water level is very close to summer pool judging by the bank line and the level of gangplanks on the docks I am familiar with on Tims. Went fishing yesterday. Took the boat out and stretched her legs a little bit. She ran flawlessly as usual, love those Yammy 4 strokes. Anyways, I may have caught fish at Watts Bar on minners, but apparently the fish at Tims didn't get the news because I got slapped in the face on minners. So I took out the good ole 30 year old Daiwa dock shooter and got to work. Assassins of course were the trick. Would Tims crappie like the chartreuse like the Watts Bar Crappie did??????? NOPE!!!!! Hey, I know, go with the Garlands. NOPE!!! Would skip bring me good luck like he has in the past with the purple and gold hand tied jigs that I love so much? NOPE!!! Well (%#+@!!!!! Hmmmm, guess i will go with the tried and true electric chicken on a 1/32 , which is way small for me cause I like to clunk em in the head. GAME ON!!!!!!!! I was line watching a whole bunch and ended up with 12 keepers, no hawgs, but average fish. Water temp is 73. I fished the same docks as always from 130 bridge up towards rock creek. Hope this helps and good to yall this weekend. Gotta work and make the doughnuts. FATBOY

Great news! Sounds like fun. Yoi gotta watch out for those darn snakes hanging around those docks. They think that my boat is home. The guy in the back has to keep a keen eye.

That was very nice of you. Dock "shooting" may take on a different meaning if I see one of those things. I am terrible "scared" of them legless creatures!

Sounds like a good trip Fatboy. Maybe I'll have something to say tomorrow. Be the first time in quite a while for me. Them little jigs are the hot ticket sometimes.
